About Cockington Physio

Cockington Physio provides a high level of expertise in the assessment, treatment and overall management of a wide range of sports injuries, pain conditions and musculoskeletal conditions.

MY CLINIC IS CLOSED FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE

OUR SERVICES

  • Physiotherapy. I have extensive skills and experience in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, neck pain, whiplash, joint pains, muscle strains and other pain issues. I can use joint mobilisation or joint manipulation as part of my treatment approach.
  • Sports Injuries. I have seen many sports men and women over the years, can identify your main problem and get you back to performing as soon as possible.
  • Injection Therapy. I perform steroid injections for conditions such as rotator cuff pain, bursitis and frozen shoulder. I also use hyalaurinase to help arthritic joints such as osteoarthritis of the knee.
  • Acupuncture. Acupuncture, one of the oldest therapies, can be used for pain relief and relaxation before physiotherapy treatment or on its own.

The practitioner, Tom McCue, is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Tom is the sole practitioner in his clinic and has a friendly professional approach.

I was dubious about acupuncture as I thought it was mainly a placebo thing. My knee was injured and it's been a couple of months after treatment. Mr Thomas McCue, if I wore a hat, I'd doff it to you in respect. Thanks for a very professional and friendly service... Richard Gara.
